My name is Olga Mamutova. I study costume design at the Stieglitz Academy in Saint Petersburg.

I have a habit of stopping — at a cloud, a tree, unexpected light on a wall. It's a way of seeing:

noticing form where you least expect it, and thinking how it could become a costume.

I draw people most of all. Faces, poses, gestures in motion. I work in pencil, watercolour, and pastel.
